Meet Dr. Kenneth P. Tway, MD, FACC
Dr. Kenneth Tway is a board-certified cardiologist with offices in San Luis Obispo. His clinical practice includes cardiac interventions and management of chronic cardiac conditions including coronary disease, heart failure and cardiac arrhythmias. He practices interventional cardiology at French Hospital Medical Center, and inpatient clinical cardiology at all four hospitals in San Luis Obispo County.
Dr. Tway grew up in Los Angeles in a medical family, as the son of a pediatrician. He received a BS in biology at Stanford University in 1973. He earned his MD at George Washington University Medical School in Washington, D.C. in 1977. He then trained in internal medicine and cardiology at the University of Southern California and at the Kaiser Permanente Sunset Medical Center in Los Angeles. After those years of training and practice in Southern California, Dr Tway moved his young family to the central coast to start a solo cardiology practice in 1987.
He has since dedicated himself to the pursuit of technical and clinical excellence to provide the best available cardiology care to residents of the Central Coast.
